Welcome to Foodies. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Foodies website and services operated by ZDT LTD. By using Foodies, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Foodies, you confirm that:
- You are at least 16 years old
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- If using on behalf of an organisation, you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms
2. Description of Service
Foodies is a food shopping platform that provides:
- Curated products from independent food vendors
- Dietary and allergen filtering
- Product search and discovery
- Secure checkout and payment processing
3. User Accounts
Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
Account Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to update such information as necessary.
4. Orders and Payments
Placing Orders
- All orders are subject to acceptance and availability
- Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order
Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Shopify. We do not store your payment card details. By placing an order, you authorise us to charge the payment method provided.
5. Product Information and Allergens
Important: While we strive to provide accurate allergen and dietary information, you should:
- Always check product labels upon receipt
- Contact the vendor directly if you have specific allergen concerns
- Be aware that products may be prepared in facilities that handle allergens
We are not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from allergen exposure. The information we provide is for guidance only.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Use automated systems to access the service without permission
7. Intellectual Property
The Foodies website, branding, and content are owned by ZDT LTD and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foodies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the website. Your continued use of Foodies after such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
